This underpainting is the staging for a scene from the mountains of the French Alps, with shades of purple and blue rocks overgrown by green grasses and various flowers. I have had this image in my idea box since I took the picture 4 years ago, so I am looking forward to finally painting it.
Pretty sure I look even more scary now that before. After working on Mark's portrait today as well, I realized that the shadows on my face are just way too dark. So before I go onto the next layers I will be correcting that.
I look really creepy- like a witch, but it will look more human and like me by the time I am done, I promise.
I have just a few couple small details to fix and then I think I am done with this piece.
